So guess what album they played over the speakers last night before the show. If you guessed 'Neil Young's Tonight's The Night', you are absolutely right. I recognized a couple of songs from it being played last night, including recent favorite 'Albuquerque' among other choice cuts by The Damned(Neat Neat Neat), The Clash(Clash City Rockers), and others.
Shout Out Louds were pretty good. Secret Machines are ready for arena rock, and I mean that in a good way. Kings Of Leon were like a band of conquering heroes returning home for a great feast and reception, only they had to work it anyway. It's always great to see bands when they feel like that. Caleb had his hair tied back in a pony tail, Nathan has shaved, Matthew wants to be Keith Richards, and how do you keep smoking a ciggarette without taking it out of your mouth? N Dub came, but I think the show was too loud for him. It was loud, and it was good.
Over heard between Washington and Stark on 3rd last night:
"How could any self respecting black man have the name Larry? 'Hi, my name is Larry!' "
That's one for the books(Take that, Larry Nance!)

Be a doll, be a baby doll,
It can't be fun not any way.
There can be found no way at all.
A distanct man can't sympathise,
Can't uphold his distant laws,
due to form on that today
I got a feeling, then I hear that call.
Neat neat neat, she can't afford no canon,
Neat neat neat, she can't afford a gun at all.
Neat neat neat, she can't afford no cannon,
Neat neat neat. aint got no name to call.
